Born in Istanbul. Having been admitted to Turkish Music Satate Conservatory, Istanbul Technical University in 2000, he completed three - stringed, four - stringed and Alto Classical Kemence training. In 2011, he graduatedfrom the master's program of Turkish Music Conservatory, Haliç University. He performed and took stage with many invaluable masters such as Cuneyd Orhon, Ihsan Ozgen, Nermin Kaygusuz, Yavuz Ozüstün, Erol Sayan, Serap Mutlu Akbulut, Alaeddin Yavasca, Selahattin Içli Cetin Körükcü and Nevzat Atli.
Halili performed as a soloist together with Istanbul Chember Orchestra and Mersin State Opera and Ballet and Cukurova State Symphony Orchestra and also together with Istanbul Technical University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Oguzhan Balci. He joined series of concerts in many World Music Festivals and Jazz Festivals in many countries such as Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Hong Kong, Egypt, Germany, France, Georgia and Switzerland with various musical groups. In 2008, he took part in the album Project called "Sufi / Bach" with Burhan Öcal in Switzerland and also in the Project called "Ragmakam" together with Edward Powell in Canada. In 2011, he took part in the album called "Pasif-Ist" in New Zealand with the harp performer, Natalia Mann and gave concerts at home and abroad. In 2012, Halili and the pianist Erman Turkeli, released their duo album called " Istanbul Duo" which consists of th world music and gave various cocerts. He still continues to the album and concert workouts with the group called "Soz Saz Istanbul".
